Stuart O’Brien considers the future of TCFD in Pensions Expert

In an article written by Charlotte Moore in Pensions Expert, partner Stuart O’Brien gives his view on the effectiveness of TCFD’s, giving both the positives and the negatives of the reports. TCFD’s are useful to measure a larger scheme’s climate risk.

“Having a mandate which changed behaviours has been a force for good.” Stuart remarks, before exploring the possible usefulness of said reports; “It is not clear how helpful it is for a member to have a 60-page technical report or details on the carbon footprint of the scheme’s LDI portfolio,”.
