Stuart O’Brien comments on ESG reporting regime in The Times

As the rules and disclosure requirements around ESG and climate change become ever more onerous for pension trustees, partner Stuart O’Brien warns in The Times that the volume of guidance around how to comply with them could prove more of a hindrance than a help. “The information on reporting requirements is there for those with enough time to wade through it. But, with all the disclosure obligations and guidance being published, there is a danger that trustees might get regulatory fatigue. This will need to be considered as new sustainable disclosure requirements come into effect.”
