I am training to become a solicitor at Sackers under their Graduate Solicitor Apprentice programme. Over 2.5 years I will gain experience in four different areas of the firm, Knowhow, Banking, Pensions Litigation and General pensions, while also studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Exams at the University of Law. I spend four days of the week in the office, with the fifth allocated to study.
Since I started, I have enjoyed gaining a wider insight into pensions law, the legal field, and the working world as a whole.
To date, I have had the privilege of being able to assist in a broad range of activities within Sackers including developing Environmental, Social and Governance related guides and fact sheets, contributing to a number of consultation responses and updating clients on pension law developments.
