New trustees are given six months from the date of their appointment to get up to speed with the Trustee Knowledge and Understanding (TKU) requirements.
This interactive seminar for trustees of DB, DC and hybrid schemes is designed to be a pain-free way of helping to meet these requirements.
DB session – join us for breakfast at 9.00am
Using case studies, Caroline Legg, Tom Jackman and Katy Harries will cover the basics of TKU, as well as looking in-depth at trustee discretions and scheme funding. This session will finish with further discussion and lunch at 12.30pm.
DC session – join us for lunch at 12.30pm
Georgina Jones, Ferdinand Lovett and Emma Martin will cover the basics of TKU in relation to DC benefits and provide an overview on key DC topics including the minimum governance standards, TPR’s DC Code, DC investment, retirement options and communications.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions and also to share your experiences. By attending this event you can claim the following CPD hours under the PMI CPD scheme:
Both sessions 4 hours
