Sackers retains top tier ranking in 2025 Chambers directory

Sackers has retained its Band 1 ranking for pensions for another consecutive year in the 2025 edition of Chambers legal directory. We are also delighted to announce that we have been promoted back into Band 1 for pensions litigation. Chambers 2025 describes Sackers as “highly experienced and capable of dealing expertly with the most complex of issues.”

One client commented: “They have a deep bench of skilled lawyers. They’ve got no hesitation in taking on complex and sophisticated projects and can be relied upon to deliver.” Another said: “The service provided has always made us feel like we are the only customer they are dealing with.

David Saunders and Janet Brown are ranked in Band 3, Faith Dickson in Band 4, Fuat Sami and Philippa Connaughton in Band 5. For pensions litigation, Peter Murphy is ranked in Band 1, with James Bingham in Band 3 and Arshad Khan in Band 4.

David Saunders, senior partner, commented: “We are delighted to retain our top ranked position for pensions in the new edition of Chambers and particularly pleased to regain our Band 1 spot for pensions litigation. But we are never complacent and these rankings provide an independent assessment of our position as the UK’s leading law firm for trustees, employers and providers of workplace pensions, demonstrating our strength and depth in every area of pensions law. Most importantly, they are a testament to our exceptionally talented and committed lawyers, who are among the brightest and best in the industry.”
