I am an experienced generalist, providing personable and strategic advice to trustees and employers about their pension arrangements.

I have a broad practice, advising on a wide range of pensions matters for both open and closed DB and DC schemes.  I work closely with clients and other advisers, supporting them to meet their objectives, deliver projects, and resolve issues pragmatically. I am passionate about pensions, and regularly speak at external events and seminars.

I have a specialist interest in pension scheme administration, and the practical implementation of legal advice, and regularly advise trustees on managing risks and opportunities in this area. I am a member of the PASA Professional Trustee Education Focus Group, working on guidance and training materials to support a more informed dialogue between trustees and their administrators.

My recent experience

  • Buy-ins, data cleanse, buy-outs and scheme wind-ups
  • GMP equalisation and other benefit correction exercises
  • run-on strategy and release of surplus options
  • bulk transfer and decumulation pathways with master trusts
  • first time outsourcing and administration transitions
  • effective governance and the management of risk.
