Pension Protection Fund: Apportionment of orphan liabilities on annual return

On its website, the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) advises that orphan members and members who cannot (for whatever reason) be assigned to a scheme’s current participating employers should be allocated between the remaining participating employers of the scheme in proportion to the number of non-orphan scheme members belonging to each participating employer.
